Hi, my name is Yamile Yemoonyah and I am the founder of CreativeWebBiz.com
I was born in Colombia, to my indigenous birth mother (of the Embera people) and my African-Colombian birth-father. When I was one and a half years old, I was adopted by my parents who are both from the Netherlands and who brought me to Germany where I grew up.
After attending four colleges in three different countries, I decided that the traditional school system was not my path and dropped out to become a full time artist (which was pretty much the best decision ever, although at the time I was scared as hell that I would end up poor and homeless)
Right from the start I decided to sell my art online instead of selling in galleries. Over the years I learned all about WordPress, online marketing, social media, SEO and everything else you need to know to run a profitable creative online business.
In the meantime I saw lots of my friends suffer in 9-5 jobs that they hated because they just didn’t know how to make a living with doing what they love. So in 2010 I decided to set up CreativeWebBiz.com to help free minded creative spirits around the world start and grow their own online business. My services include website creation and business coaching.
Then, in May 2011 I gave away all my possessions and became a location independent digital nomad traveling the world with my laptop in tow so I can work from on the road . Check the map below to see where I’ve been so far.
